Vektor Performance respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect personal information when you visit our Shopify store, purchase tires or wheels, request a quote or contact us.
1. Who is responsible for your information
Vektor Performance is a sole proprietorship based in Pickering, Ontario, Canada. The owner is responsible for our privacy practices.
For privacy questions or requests, contact:
Email: info@vektorperformance.ca
Phone: (289) 204-4448
WhatsApp: https://wa.me/message/35LMUMZRIBS3A1
Please use the subject “Privacy request” when emailing us.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we collect:
- Contact information: your name, email address, telephone number and billing or delivery address.
- Order information: products, quantities, payments, invoices, delivery arrangements, returns and warranty requests.
- Vehicle information: details you provide for fitment assistance, such as vehicle year, make, model, trim, tire size and wheel specifications.
- Communications: messages, quote requests, photographs and other information you send us.
- Website information: information collected through Shopify and enabled website tools, such as IP address, browser and device details, pages viewed, searches and cart activity.
- Preferences: marketing subscriptions and privacy or cookie choices.
Please provide only information relevant to your enquiry or purchase. Do not send passwords or full payment-card details through email, contact forms or WhatsApp.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to:
- Respond to enquiries and provide quotes or fitment assistance.
- Process payments and fulfill orders.
- Arrange pickup, local delivery, returns and warranty assistance.
- Send receipts, order updates and important service messages.
- Maintain accounting and transaction records.
- Detect fraud, protect our systems and resolve disputes.
- Understand website performance and improve the shopping experience.
- Send marketing communications where we have the consent or other permission required by law.
We seek additional consent where required before using information for a materially different purpose.
4. Shopify and payment services
Our online store is hosted by Shopify. Shopify and the payment services used at checkout process information needed to operate the store, complete transactions, provide security and support their services.
Payment information is handled through the selected payment provider. We receive transaction information needed to administer your purchase.
Shopify also processes certain information for its own purposes as described in its privacy policy:
https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy
5. When information is shared
We disclose information where reasonably necessary to:
- Shopify and service providers supporting hosting, payments, communications, accounting, security and website functionality.
- Delivery providers, using the contact and address details needed to complete delivery.
- Suppliers or manufacturers where needed to fulfill an order or assess a warranty claim.
- An installation partner where you ask us to coordinate services and authorize the necessary sharing.
- Professional advisers or public authorities where required or permitted by law.
We limit information shared to what is needed for the relevant purpose. Referring you to NHS does not automatically authorize us to send them your full customer or order record.
6. Cookies, analytics and marketing
Shopify and enabled website tools use cookies or similar technologies to support functions such as remembering your cart, operating checkout, maintaining security and understanding website use.
If we enable additional analytics or advertising tools, they may collect browsing activity and device identifiers. We obtain consent where required and provide applicable privacy choices.
You can manage cookies through any privacy controls displayed on our website and through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may affect cart or checkout functions.
You can unsubscribe from promotional emails using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us. Withdrawing marketing consent does not stop messages needed to administer an existing order.
An enquiry or purchase does not, by itself, authorize every form of future marketing.
7. WhatsApp and other external services
When you contact us through WhatsApp or another third-party platform, that service also processes information under its own privacy policy.
External websites, including manufacturers and installation partners, have separate privacy practices. Review their policies before submitting information.
8. Processing outside Canada
Shopify and other service providers may store or process information outside Canada. Information processed in another country may be accessible to its courts, law-enforcement agencies or other authorities under that country’s laws.
9. Retention and security
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including order fulfillment, warranty support, accounting, legal requirements and dispute resolution.
When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete it, securely dispose of it or make it anonymous.
We use safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. No online system or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
10. Access, corrections and privacy choices
You may contact us to request access to personal information we hold about you, ask for corrections, withdraw consent or request deletion.
Requests are subject to applicable law. Some information may need to be retained for transaction records, legal obligations or unresolved matters. Withdrawing information needed for an order may affect our ability to fulfill it.
We may reasonably verify your identity before responding. If we cannot fulfill a request, we will explain the reason where required.
11. Questions or complaints
Contact info@vektorperformance.ca with questions or concerns about our handling of personal information. We will review your concern and respond.
You may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada:

12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services or privacy practices. The latest version will appear here with its update date.
Where a change requires new consent or additional notice, we will take those steps before applying the change.
